Getting started with LAMO Fit

Creating a Workout

  1. Open LAMO Fit and tap the + button on the Workouts tab.
  2. Give your workout a name.
  3. Add exercises by tapping Add Exercise. For each exercise, set a name, work duration, and rest duration.
  4. Set the number of sets you want to complete.
  5. Tap Save to add it to your workout list.

Tip: You can also start from a pre-built template in the Workout Library. Tap any template to preview it, then add it to your workouts.

Starting a Workout

  1. Tap on any workout from your list to open it.
  2. Review the exercises and settings.
  3. Tap Start Workout to begin.
  4. A countdown will give you time to get ready, then the timer begins.

During a workout you can pause, skip to the next exercise, or end early using the on-screen controls.

Audio Cues

LAMO Fit uses distinct audio tones to signal transitions between work and rest phases. Audio plays over your music so you can stay focused without watching the screen.

Make sure your phone is not on silent mode and the volume is turned up to hear audio cues.

Heart Rate Monitoring

If you have an Apple Watch, LAMO Fit can display your live heart rate during workouts via HealthKit.

  1. When prompted, grant LAMO Fit permission to read heart rate data.
  2. Wear your Apple Watch during workouts.
  3. Your BPM will appear on the workout timer screen.

You can manage this permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → LAMO Fit.

Activity Log

Every completed workout is saved to your Activity Log. Switch to the Activity Log tab to see your workout history. You can add notes and record how you felt after each session.

LAMO 10 Benchmark

LAMO 10 is a standardized 10-exercise fitness benchmark. It gives you a score you can track over time to measure your progress.

  1. Go to the Progress tab.
  2. Tap Start LAMO 10 to begin the benchmark.
  3. Complete all 10 exercises, logging your reps after each one.
  4. Your score is calculated automatically and saved to your history.

Sharing Workouts

You can share workouts with friends using shareable links. Open a workout, tap the Share button, and send the link. Anyone with LAMO Fit can open it and add the workout to their collection.
